
Sr. Sheila Lemieux, CSJP
Sr. Sheila Lemieux, a sister of St. Joseph of Peace, currently serves as the Congregation Director of Vocation and Initial Formation, overseeing all programs and personnel involved in the initial formation of sisters. Her ministry reflects a deep commitment to nurturing the spiritual and vocational journeys of others.
Sr. Sheila brings a rich and varied background to her ministry. She has served as a teacher and principal in the Seattle Archdiocese and Ketchikan, Alaska; as a Pastoral Associate at St. Joseph Parish in Issaquah, WA; and in Mission Integration at PeaceHealth, where she also served on the PeaceHealth System Board. Additionally, her leadership includes previous roles in Congregation and Province leadership, including 12 years as Congregation Leader.
An experienced Spiritual Director and Retreat Director, Sr. Sheila is passionate about faith sharing, spirituality, scripture, and theology, especially in light of what is happening in the world. Her retreats and spiritual direction are marked by her grounded presence, expansive wisdom, and the joy she finds in humor and laughter.
Sr. Sheila’s life and ministry continue to inspire others to deepen their connection to faith, community, and the world around them.
