Sr. Charlotte Davenport, CSJP, Advocate for Justice and Sustainability
Sr. Charlotte Davenport, a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, brings over 28 years of experience in nonprofit and church administration. Originally from California, she began her career as a Microbiologist for the Environmental Protection Agency in Alaska before entering religious life in 1978. Since then, she has served in various leadership roles, including as CFO and Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Anchorage, consultant on retirement planning, and developer of low-income housing initiatives.
With advanced degrees in Whole Systems Design and Transformational Leadership, Sr. Charlotte is passionate about creating a sustainable future where dignity and respect are upheld for all people and creation. She is committed to seeking peace through justice, challenging systemic injustices, and fostering collaborative solutions that transform societies.
Sr. Charlotte believes in the power of collective action, stating, “What we can do together is far greater than what we can do alone.”
