MaryEllen Weber

MaryEllen Weber is a spiritual director and award-winning author whose lifelong search for God has led her into the heart of contemplative practice and spiritual awakening. From her earliest years, MaryEllen was drawn to the quiet, sacred spaces of life—beneath lilac bushes, inside boats, even underwater—where she felt closest to the Divine. Though she began her journey seeking answers through her religious tradition, her questions only deepened, becoming more theological and more personal.

Her studies at Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry marked a turning point. There, she discovered that true spiritual knowing isn’t something taught—it’s something awakened. In returning to the still, reflective spaces she cherished as a child, she began to experience the indwelling Presence of God in a new way—not as something distant or abstract, but as a living reality within all creation.

MaryEllen’s ministry is grounded in this awareness: that the Divine is already present within each of us, and the spiritual journey is one of GrowingAwake to that Presence. Through retreats and workshops, spiritual growth groups, labyrinth walking, SoulCollage®, and individual spiritual direction, MaryEllen accompanies others on their own sacred path of awakening, helping them reconnect with the Source already alive within them and in the world around them.
