Doug Johnson, CSJP-A

Doug Johnson has been an Associate with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace for over 25 years and has co-led the Men’s Reflection Group (formerly Men of Faith) for about eight years. With a strong belief in the power of community, Doug encourages men to share their life experiences and reflect on important questions about life, death, forgiveness, hope, and joy. He values the wisdom found in life’s margins, having worked closely with people facing poverty, addiction, and homelessness. Born and raised in small-town America, Doug learned early the importance of community and supporting one another. Married to his lovely wife Diane for over 55 years, Doug is passionate about Catholic social teaching, as lived by Pope Francis and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. Together, they live in Federal Way, where they continue to serve and nurture their community.
