
Anisa Ralls, MA, LMHC
Anisa Ralls, Chairperson of the Mental Health Ministry Committee for the Archdiocese of Seattle, brings a wealth of experience and deep compassion to her ministry. She creates a safe and supportive space for exploring the intersections of faith and mental health, offering both practical tools and spiritual insight for navigating life’s challenges with grace and resilience.
Anisa became the Director of the Mental Health and Wellness Ministry at St. James Cathedral in 2023. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Seattle University (2004) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. Her professional background includes work as a therapist with Catholic Community Services and in community mental health, as well as extensive experience in mental health advocacy, education, and support through a local nonprofit serving individuals and families affected by mental health disorders.
She has also served for many years as an Emergency Department Social Worker, bringing care and calm to people in crisis. A dedicated member of the Seattle Archdiocese’s Mental Health Committee since 2015, Anisa played a key role in forming a parish mental health ministry and continues to lead the mental health and wellness activities at the Cathedral. She offers direct support and connection to resources for individuals and families navigating mental health challenges.
In her spare time, Anisa enjoys music, reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her family and friends.
