The Our Father: A Prayer for Justice and Action
March 19, 2026
This prayer service will invite us to enter into the words of the Our Father with new depth, seeing it not only as a prayer of faith but as a call to justice and action.
Line by line, we will reflect on how this familiar prayer speaks to our world today — calling us to live God’s will, share daily bread, forgive generously, and resist the forces of evil and violence.
Gathered in the chapel, we will pray, listen, and reflect together, allowing silence, scripture, and simple ritual to open space for both contemplation and commitment.
The purpose of this service is to ground us in the heart of Jesus’ prayer while also recognizing its radical call: to work for peace through justice, to care for creation, and to act with compassion in our daily lives.
