The path may be the same, but the journey is always your own.

A labyrinth is a path that invites you to walk, pause, reflect, and discover what may be waiting for your attention.

Whether you come for a full day, or a few hours, this personal labyrinth retreat offers an opportunity to step away from everyday distractions and reconnect with yourself through the simple, reflective practice of walking a labyrinth.

Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has only one path leading to the center and back out again. There are no wrong turns or decisions to make. The experience is not about finding your way out, but about being present along the way. For some, it becomes a time of prayer or meditation; for others, an opportunity to reflect on life’s questions, release what feels heavy, or simply enjoy a few moments of peace.

Our Peace Prayer Labyrinth will be reserved for your personal reflection, and you will also receive a finger labyrinth to use during your retreat. You are also welcome to explore our peaceful 11-acre grounds, including our Peace Path through the woods, Meditation Garden, Virgin Mary’s Grotto, and dock overlooking Lake Washington.

While no facilitator is present during your time, you will receive a self-guided retreat guide that walks you through your experience, with suggested activities, reflection questions, and instructions on what to do during each part of your retreat. You are welcome to follow it from beginning to end, use only the parts that speak to you, or set it aside altogether! It is simply there to help you make the most of your time, if you wish.

New to the idea of a walking a labyrinth? Your retreat guide will introduce you to the history and purpose of labyrinths, explain how to walk or trace one, and offer simple ways to make the experience meaningful, whether your approach is spiritual, religious, or simply reflective.
