Still, We Hope: An At-Home Advent Retreat
November 29 - December 27, 2026
There are plenty of reasons to feel discouraged by the world right now. Still, We Hope does not ask you to ignore them, explain them away, or cover them with Christmas cheer. Instead, this Advent retreat offers something a little different: an invitation to go looking for hope.
This at-home retreat will invite you to explore hope through stories, films, songs, and imagination. Each week offers a different creative doorway into the Advent journey, making space to consider what it means to begin without certainty, remain faithful in difficult times, make room for longing, and help hope take root in the world around us.
There is no weekly schedule to follow and no particular pace to keep. Open the guide when you have a little time. Stay with what catches your attention. Skip something and come back to it later. Take an invitation with you into your day.
Because Advent does not promise that everything will suddenly be fixed. It gives us something much smaller—and perhaps much more radical.
A reason to keep hoping.
