Peace Day for Women is a half-day retreat program designed for women who seek to deepen their spiritual lives in the company of others. Each retreat offers a blend of teaching, silent reflection, and group sharing, providing a nurturing space for spiritual growth and connection.

This September -and by popular request- we’re kicking off the season with a Healing Circle session, welcoming back the compassionate and wise Beth Light as our facilitator.

Unlike our usual format of teaching, silent reflection, and structured sharing, Healing Circles are unstructured gatherings where the pace is gentle, and the sharing is heartfelt—but only if you feel comfortable. There’s no pressure to speak; your presence alone is welcome. These circles offer a unique kind of peace: the kind that arises when we sit together with open hearts, witness each other’s stories without judgment, and honor the silence between words.

While this format isn’t everyone’s cup of tea—especially if you prefer a more guided experience—we encourage you to give it a try if you haven’t before. You may find unexpected wisdom in the quiet presence of others, and a surprising sense of healing in being seen and heard just as you are.

As always, spiritual direction will be available for those seeking deeper personal reflection, with 25-minute sessions offered by our beloved friend Lisa Dennison from SEEL, at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

Please remember to bring a sack lunch.

Please note: While Peace Day for Women sessions are usually livestreamed, this Healing Circle session will be in person only. Due to the nature of the format, it cannot be livestreamed in order to preserve the safety, confidentiality, and sacredness of the space.
