Peace Day for Women - Women, Mental Health, and Spirituality
With Anisa Ralls, MA, LMHC
September 16, 2026
Peace Day for Women is a half-day retreat program designed for women who seek to deepen their spiritual lives in the company of others. Each retreat offers a blend of teaching, silent reflection, and group sharing, providing a nurturing space for spiritual growth and connection.
This September, join us for a thoughtful and nurturing conversation exploring the intersection of women’s mental health, spirituality, and community. Drawing from her work at St. James, our presenter, Anisa Ralls, will reflect on the importance of supportive relationships, practical skills for caring for our mental well-being, and the role spirituality can play in sustaining us through life’s challenges.
Together, we will explore a holistic approach to wellness that honors the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. Participants will learn simple, accessible techniques and have space during the session to practice self-care and gentle spiritual practices in community.
As always, spiritual direction will be available for those seeking deeper personal reflection, with 25-minute sessions offered by our beloved friend Lisa Dennison from SEEL, at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
Please note: This month’s Peace Day for Women program will not be livestreamed.
