Peace Day for Women is a half-day retreat program designed for women who seek to deepen their spiritual lives in the company of others. Each retreat offers a blend of teaching, silent reflection, and group sharing, providing a nurturing space for spiritual growth and connection. The program runs from September through May each year, and this upcoming gathering marks our final session of the season.

This session will be led by Anisa Ralls, Chairperson of the Mental Health Ministry Committee for the Archdiocese of Seattle. Anisa brings a wealth of experience and deep compassion to her ministry, creating a safe and supportive space for exploring the intersections of spirituality and mental health.

This month’s theme invites us to reflect on how stress affects our well-being—both personally and collectively. Together, we’ll explore how to recognize stress in our lives and in the world around us, learn practical coping tools, and discover how to foster inner healing and resilience. Anisa will guide us in making meaningful connections between self-care, justice, and the pursuit of peace in our communities.

You won’t want to miss this heartfelt and empowering session.

As always, spiritual direction will be available for those seeking deeper personal reflection, with 25-minute sessions offered by our beloved friend Lisa Dennison from SEEL, at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

We hope you’ll join us as we close out the season with care, community, and contemplation.

Please note: While Peace Day for Women sessions are livestreamed, they are not held via Zoom.
