International Day of Peace - A Day Retreat for Peace & Justice Seekers
With Sr. Simone Campbell
September 21, 2026
On the International Day of Peace, join Sr. Simone Campbell, SSS—Catholic sister, attorney, and longtime advocate for justice—for a reflective day retreat grounded in hope, courage, and action.
Drawing from Catholic social teaching, lived experience, and decades of public witness, Sr. Simone will invite participants to reflect on the deep connection between inner peace and the call to justice in our world. Through reflection, conversation, and contemplative pauses, this retreat offers space to reconnect with what sustains us, especially in times of division, fatigue, or discouragement.
This day is for anyone longing to live more faithfully into the work of peace—whether through advocacy, service, community leadership, or simply showing up with compassion in daily life. Come to rest, to listen, and to be renewed for the ongoing work of justice and peace.
What To Bring: You’re welcome to bring a sack lunch, or enjoy a light lunch provided at the Center.
