We all know Jesus’ command to forgive, but letting go of anger and resentment isn’t easy. Some of us carry around hurts for decades, weighing us down and keeping us from experiencing greater peace in our lives. This one-day retreat will show us that forgiving doesn’t mean absolving, and letting go doesn’t mean forgetting; but it does mean turning to God for the grace to do what we cannot do on our own.

We are delighted to welcome Ron Ryan back to the Peace & Spirituality Center to guide us through this day of reflection, prayer, and honest exploration of what forgiveness asks of us—and what it does not. Together, we will make space to consider the hurts we carry, the obstacles that can make forgiveness difficult, and the possibility of allowing God’s grace to begin loosening what we may not yet know how to release.
