Disarming Our Hearts Circle

Open Dates

Peace is not just something we think about. It is something we practice together.

The Disarming Our Hearts Circle is a monthly companion for those who want to intentionally practice becoming peace in daily life. Inspired by the ongoing Disarming Our Hearts: Becoming Peace series, this offering invites us to cultivate inner peace and bring it into the world as contemplative critics, prophetic risktakers, and radical reconcilers.

Each month, members receive a thoughtfully curated collection of resources designed to inspire reflection, prayer, and meaningful action. Through stories, artwork, wisdom voices, contemplative practices, and simple invitations for daily life, the Circle encourages participants to slow down, listen deeply, and practice peace in tangible ways.

Each month, Circle members receive:

A Letter for the Journey: A monthly reflection centered on the month’s peace theme.

Gifts from Our Sisters: A monthly original offering drawn from the creativity and wisdom of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace.

The Labyrinth Within: A contemplative prompt inspired by the journey inward and outward.

A Prayer for Peace: A prayer for peace within ourselves, our relationships, our communities, and our world. Sometimes original, sometimes drawn from treasured spiritual voices across traditions.

Voices of Wisdom: Quotes, reflections, and insights from scripture, saints, peacemakers, wisdom traditions, and everyday life.

From Olive’s Corner: A gentle moment of delight, grounding, or playful wisdom.

A Peace Offering: A simple but meaningful invitation to share peace with others.

Held in the Circle: A shared space where we hold one another in prayer and compassion.

In Right Relationship (occasional): An invitation to connect with creation through a simple reflection or practice that nurtures peace with the Earth.

At its heart, the Disarming Our Hearts Circle is a reminder that peace is not simply an idea to admire, but a way of being to practice—together.

Whether you are seeking spiritual encouragement, a rhythm of monthly reflection, or a quiet sense of connection with others committed to peace, you are warmly welcome.
