Carrying Loss Together: A Gathering for Grief
October 24, 2026
Grief is a natural and deeply human response to loss, yet it is often carried quietly and alone. This pilot offering creates a gentle and supportive space for those who are navigating grief—whether recent or long held.
In the spirit of All Souls, a time when we remember and honor those who have died, this gathering offers an opportunity to pause and hold their memory with care, while also tending to our own experience of loss.
This session invites participants to pause, reflect, and share, if and as they feel comfortable. There is no expectation to speak and no pressure to “move on.” Instead, the focus is on presence, listening, and honoring each person’s experience.
The time together will include a simple opening reflection, space for optional sharing, and a quiet closing. Rooted in compassion and respect, this is not a counseling session, but a space of accompaniment—where grief can be acknowledged and held with care.
All are welcome, wherever they may be in their journey.
