Advent Reflection Day: Exploring Our Spiritualities Through Life Symbols
The season of Advent is filled with beautiful images of hope and desire. These images appeal to and express our faith and our sense of life. Over the course of the years we form what can be called a “life symbol” which best evokes and captures our personal spirituality. It is helpful for our living as well as for our prayer to know our personal “life symbol”.
This Advent Reflection Day, led by Fr. Stephen Sundborg, S.J., former president of Seattle University, will explore by way of example the “life symbols” of several people, helping us to identify and be empowered by our own symbol, so that we might live more deeply our spirituality. With presentation, prayer, poetry, quiet, and exchange we will help one another to enter into this sacred season of the year.
You are welcome to bring a sack lunch, or you may join us for lunch with a donation of $20.
