A Priest's Pause: Overnight Retreat

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace warmly invite the priests of the Archdiocese of Seattle to step away from the demands of ministry and spend time in a place of quiet, prayer, and renewal.

Come on your own for silence and reflection. There is no schedule to keep, no expectations to meet—only space to breathe, pray, walk the grounds, read, celebrate Mass, or simply enjoy the gift of being still.

You will enjoy a private bedroom and access to shared common spaces within the guest accommodations. Meals are complimentary and offered through the sisters’ dining room.

Our hope is that the St. Mary on the Lake and the Peace & Spirituality Center may be a place where you can be received with the same care and hospitality that you so generously offer to others every day.

As an expression of the sisters’ gratitude for your ministry, there is no cost to visit us. This is our gift of hospitality to you, offered with joy and with prayers for your continued ministry.

To schedule an overnight retreat, please complete the linked form. We will review your inquiry for availability and suitability and respond within three to five business days. You will then receive follow-up information on how to finalize your reservation.

Group Stays: While this offering is intended for individual stays, if you are interested in staying overnight with another priest or a small group of priests, please email us at peace@csjp-olp.org. We would be happy to discuss the available options and do our best to accommodate your request.
