A Priest's Pause: Day/Half-Day Retreat

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace warmly invite the priests of the Archdiocese of Seattle to step away from the demands of ministry and spend time in a place of quiet, prayer, and renewal.

Whether you come for a few hours or a full day, you are always welcome. Come on your own for silence and reflection, or with a brother priest for conversation, prayer, and rest. There is no schedule to keep, no expectations to meet—only space to breathe, pray, walk the grounds, read, celebrate Mass, or simply enjoy the gift of being still.

Meals during your visit are complimentary and offered through the sisters’ dining room.

Our hope is that the St. Mary on the Lake and the Peace & Spirituality Center may be a place where you can be received with the same care and hospitality that you so generously offer to others every day.

As an expression of the sisters’ gratitude for your ministry, there is no cost to visit us. This is our gift of hospitality to you, offered with joy and with prayers for your continued ministry.
